Cycas revoluta - Sago palm

Height: 0,6–0,8 m

Sago palm is a special evergreen with a tropical summer feel, slowly growing 2–3 m tall. Its thick, scaly trunk and pineapple-like leaves are striking. Drought tolerant with modest water needs, but appreciates watering on hot summer days. Older plants like sun, young ones are best in partial shade. Prefers lime-free soil. Frost sensitive. Great as a houseplant in stairwells, near windows or in lobbies, and enchanting outdoors as well.
